Located on a sloping site near Lake Schwielow, Musik+ Hof Inspirimus Ferch is envisioned as a place of togetherness, contemplation, and creativity. Set within the inspiring landscape of the Havelland region, shaped by the spirit of a former artists’ colony and its proximity to Potsdam and Berlin, the project seeks to create a space of retreat and encounter that brings together art, science, and community.
Initiated by Xenia Jankovic, the Hof is conceived as an egalitarian centre for exchange, education, and inspiration, open to people who wish to seek and promote values of connection, beauty, and constructive engagement. Regular concerts, lectures, workshops, and interdisciplinary formats provide a framework for dialogue, collaboration, and the generation of new ideas. Social interaction, expressed through shared meals, drinks, and celebrations, forms an integral part of the cultural experience.
A weekly event strengthens the project’s local anchoring and establishes Musik+ Hof as a permanent component of the communal life in Ferch. Both the architecture and the programme reflect openness and transparency, with boundaries between formats, genres, and disciplines intentionally kept fluid.
An international network of artists, scientists, and partner institutions, including the Church of Beethoven and Sounds and Science Vienna, contributes to the project’s global connectivity and impact.
The aim of Musik+ Hof is to transform people into active participants in a shared cultural experience that resonates beyond the site and into society at large. Sustainability, artistic excellence, and the joy of collective creation form the foundation for inspiration, responsibility, and a meaningful sense of togetherness.
