The existing BioMed headquarters accommodates both office and production spaces. Due to the company’s growth and increasing demand, an extension was required to provide additional production and storage areas and ensure efficient material supply.
The two-storey extension is positioned at the southeast end of the existing building, directly connecting to the workshop. The new production and storage areas continue the existing workflow, while a new mail and delivery area on the southeast façade serves the incoming materials and outgoing finished products. The extension also provides an additional staff lounge and break room. Designed as a subtle continuation of the existing building, the new volume grows organically from the structure and creates a new entrance address without dominating the existing building.
